NINA BLECHMAN WINS SALESPERSON OF THE YEAR

In what was described as one of the closest competitions in company history for Salesperson of the Year, Pamco announced Nina Blechman as the winner or this prestigious award for 2011.

Nina beat out her two closest competitors, Teddy Roth and Ryan Feldman to take home this award.  “All three finalists had great years in 2011 and all made great cases to win this coveted award, but in the end Nina edged the other competitors out,” said Michael Blechman, President, who presented the awards at the annual Pamco Holiday Party on December 9, 2011.  “When deciding who will win this award we look at a lot of different criteria.  Nina’s hard work and determination pushed her through 2011 and she came out the winner.”

"I was thrilled to win the award this year. I knew I was having a very good year, however, I also knew my competition was quite strong. To win the award was a great feeling of accomplishment" says Nina Blechman. "I could not have done it without the great internal support I receive from the entire Pamco team and obviously without the greatest customers in the world.”

“All three of these contestants had great years.  They all exceeded the goals we set for them at the end of 2010 and all three stayed on track throughout the year with these goals in mind.  I really believe that in 2012, they can all continue to grow their businesses and make it a significantly better year than 2011,” declared Danny Fishbein, VP of Sales and Marketing.

Pamco Joins Forces with Resource Label Group

I am pleased to announce that Pamco Label Company (Pamco) and Resource Label Group (RLG), with the assistance of First Atlantic Capital, have joined forces to become one of the ten largest pressure sensitive label converters in the United States.  Pamco will continue to operate from our Des Plaines, IL location with the same people and the same business philosophy, while we draw on the complimentary strengths of RLG to expand our product offerings and improve our ability to serve our clients.

That’s why Ikeep saying “It’s business as usual, only better!”  It’s “business as usual”, because it is the same Pamco with the same management team.  As a valued customer, you will still work with the same Pamco representatives and Danny Fishbein will continue to lead our sales team.  We plan to continue the Pamco tradition of superior quality and outstanding service under this new structure.  I will continue in my role as President of Pamco, making sure our team has the focused direction and the resources needed to continue to grow and prosper.

So what is the “only better”?
RLG brings to us a number of unique products and capabilities that were previously not available through Pamco.  These include:
-More offerings in ECLs (Extended Content Labels), including booklet labels
-RFID label and tag manufacturing and technical support
-Additional screen printing capacity (up to four colors)

Our larger size will offer benefits to our customers within our current product offerings.  We will soon be able to do the following:
-Combine our purchasing powers to help offset future raw material cost increases
-Improve our lead times even further, by balancing our workload between our three production facilities
-Provide manufacturing redundancy in the event of business disruptions
-Develop more sophisticated systems to enhance service

I am eagerly looking forward to this integration process.  Pamco has been a phenomenal “success story” for the last thirty plus years.  I look forward to working with our new partners at RLG and First Atlantic to build an even more successful company in the years ahead. Please feel free to contact me, any of our senior managers or your sales representative if you want to discuss anything related to this process.  Management contact information is listed below.  Thank you for your support, business and friendship.  I look forward to sharing more good news with you in the coming months and years.

Pamco Becomes Approved Vendor for Wal-Mart and Target

Recently, Pamco Label Company participated in a series of audits and reviews from two of the largest retailers in the world.  We obtained certified supplier status from both Target and Wal-Mart Corporations.  This means that custom printed flexographic labels from the Pamco facility are approved for products that will be on both of these retailer’s shelves. The audits reviewed our quality control, ethical practices, safety policies, our facility and shipping department.  Under the guidelines of both the Target Packaging Program and the Wal-Mart Global Sourcing Committee, we have passed the certification standards and are very PROUD to announce that Pamco Label Company is a supplier in good standing.

What does this mean for our customers?
These retailers have set up guidelines for all of the products they carry in their stores and in order to be considered for certain lines, you must use their approved suppliers.  Since our customers range from manufacturers of health & beauty products, food & beverage products, to many more consumer nondurable products, this is just another way that Pamco can help expedite the placement of your products in these stores.  Pamco is always looking to do whatever we can to provide our customers with the best service and quality in the industry.  Our hope is that by gaining approved vendor status for these large retailers, we can remain or become your premier supplier of custom printed labels.

Please call or email Danny Fishbein if you have any questions on our approved vendor status or if you need assistance on any project.
